The clinical staff at Dr. Krishnan’s office has combined orthodontic experience of over 70 years!! Our assistants are all licensed by the state of Maryland and are CPR certified as well. We strive to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.

Office Manager

Mary Ellen

Mary Ellen is Dr. Krishnan’s Office Manager. She has been with Dr. Krishnan for almost 15 years. She has 30 years of experience in Orthodontics. Mary Ellen has expertise in all areas of the Orthodontic practice. She has worked as an Orthodontic Assistant, Treatment Coordinator, Scheduling Coordinator as well as Financial Coordinator. She is available with any questions or concerns you may have with any aspect of your orthodontic care! Mary Ellen and her family have lived in Calvert County for the past 25 years.

 

 

Administrative Staff

Theresa

Theresa is one of our Scheduling Coordinators. She has been with Dr. Krishnan for 6 years and has over 10 years experience in the dental field working in both the front office and assisting. She lives in Calvert County with her family. When you call our office to schedule your orthodontic appointment, you will hear Theresa’s friendly voice helping you with all your scheduling needs.

 

Phyllis

Phyllis is our other Scheduling Coordinator. She comes to our practice with over 17 years of dental experience. She has been with Dr. Krishnan for a year. She is happy to help you with any scheduling questions you might have and will help you find the most convenient appointment available for your orthodontic needs.

 

 

Clinical Staff

 

Nancy

Nancy is one of our Orthodontic Assistants and has been with Dr. Krishnan for the past 11 years. She has over 35 years experience in the Orthodontic field! She enjoys working with patients and seeing the confidence they gain as they notice their teeth changing for the better during their orthodontic treatment. She has lived in the North Beach area for the past 11 years.

 

Stephanie

Stephanie has been with Dr. Krishnan for almost 9 years. She is the Primary Insurance Specialist in our practice as well as an Orthodontic Assistant. You might find Stephanie processing your insurance claim in our front office or working on patients in our operatory when you come in. She is very comfortable in either position. Stephanie loves her two pugs Pebbles and Rolly and enjoys spending time with her niece and nephews.

 

Jamie

Jamie is an Orthodontic Assistant in our practice. She has been with Dr. Krishnan for 7 years. Jamie enjoys working on patients and creating the fun contests you see in our office. Jamie loves animals! She currently has a dog and a cat, but would like more! Jamie has lived in Calvert County for 20 years and can’t imagine living anywhere but here.

 

Kathy

Kathy is our Sterilization Technician and one of our Orthodontic Assistants. You never see Kathy standing still as her job takes her all over the practice! Kathy has over 14 years experience in the Dental field and has been with Dr. Krishnan for the past 7 years. Kathy and her husband have two bulldogs Winston and Buford and they love their “bullies”.

 

Tosha

Tosha is one of our Orthodontic Assistants and brings over 16 years experience in dentistry to our practice. She has been working for Dr. Krishnan for 7 years. She is in charge of our Invisalign patients. Tosha maintains our in-office laboratory as our primary Laboratory Technician. Tosha loves the cold weather and she loves it when it snows! Tosha and her husband Jim have lived in St. Mary’s County for the past 6 years.

 

Kristen

Kristen has been with Dr. Krishnan for a year and in the Orthodontic field for 3 years. Kristen and her family recently moved to our area and love it here. Kristen can be found working on patients as one of our Orthodontic Assistants as well as processing your insurance benefits as an Insurance Specialist.
